What we need from you

Before we start your branding website: gather these in order, then share one folder link (Google Drive or WeTransfer). Rough notes are fine for discovery.

Please note: This checklist is indicative. It suggests what clients often share before a branding website project. Your actual requirements may be different. Send whatever content you already have; we will confirm the final list with you during discovery.

Step 1

Brand name & logo

How your practice should appear on the site header, browser tab, and share previews.

Provide

  • Official business / practice name (exact spelling and capitalisation)
  • Tagline or one-line descriptor, if you use one
  • Logo files: PNG with transparent background, or SVG if available
  • Light and dark versions if you have them (helps on navy sections)
Tip If you do not have a logo yet, note that in your folder. We can discuss a simple wordmark during the free design preview.
Step 2

About you & profile

The story visitors read on your About page and hero — who you are and why clients trust you.

Provide

  • Short bio for the principal / founder (3–6 sentences is enough)
  • Years of experience, credentials, or affiliations worth mentioning
  • Who you serve (industry, audience, geography)
  • Your tone: formal, warm, direct, etc. (or point to a site whose tone you like)

Optional but helpful

  • Professional headshot (high resolution, well lit)
  • Team member names, roles, and short bios if more than one person appears on the site
Step 3

Services you offer

Each main service gets its own section or page. Brief is fine — we refine during discovery.

Provide

  • List of services (e.g. strategy consulting, workshops, retainers)
  • 2–4 bullet points per service: what it includes, who it is for, outcome
  • Anything you do not want listed (so we do not imply it)
Format A simple Word doc or numbered list in Drive works. One heading per service, bullets underneath.
Step 4

Photos & media

Images for hero, about, and service sections. Organised folders save time.

Provide

  • Office, team, or session photos you own or have rights to use
  • Event or client-work photos (only if you have permission to publish)
  • Any existing brand imagery, icons, or presentation slides we can reuse

Folder structure (suggested)

  • 01-logo
  • 02-headshots
  • 03-office-team
  • 04-projects-events
Quality Original files from phone or camera are fine. Avoid tiny screenshots or heavily compressed WhatsApp forwards when possible.
Step 5

Contact details

What appears on Contact page, footer, and enquiry paths.

Provide

  • Phone number(s) for display and WhatsApp, if different
  • Email address for enquiries (can differ from your personal inbox)
  • Office address or city (full address only if you want it public)
  • Business hours or “by appointment” note
  • Google Maps link, if you want a map embed
Step 6

Social & links

Profiles we can link in the header or footer.

Provide

  • LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, or other profile URLs
  • Existing website, if any (even if you are replacing it)
  • Booking link (Calendly, etc.) if you want a “Schedule a call” button
Step 7

Anything else

Optional items that strengthen the site when you have them ready.

Nice to have

  • Client testimonials (name, role, company, quote — written permission if named)
  • Case studies or project summaries (problem, approach, result)
  • Certifications, memberships, awards
  • FAQ: questions clients often ask before hiring you
  • Legal footer text: GSTIN, company registration, if you want it shown
  • 2–3 reference websites whose layout or feel you like (not to copy — for direction)
Step 8

How to send everything

One link keeps discovery smooth.

Share one folder

Upload everything to Google Drive or WeTransfer. Use clear folder names (steps 1–7 above). Send the link to:

info@simplyplugged.com

  • Enable “Anyone with the link can view” on Drive
  • Or reply on WhatsApp with the link after you accept the proposal
  • Rough notes are fine; we shape copy during discovery
